Dr. D.D is the author of the Life Compass book series with over 3 million readers and an award winner of the Women Changing the World Award for her leadership in investment, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and wellbeing.
Philanthropy
She has led free meditation retreats, offering hotel accommodation and delicious Thai meals for 500–700 people, 4–6 times a year for 29 years, and has built free schools, hospitals, and free meditation centers. She also led the donation of gold the size of a human to ancient meditation temples.
Her next focus is on taking children from the war zones of Palestine, Israel, Ukraine, the border of Russia, India, Africa, Syria, and Afghanistan to boarding schools in Egypt and the EU.

A Journey of Inner Transformation

Dr. D.D entered a full-time silent retreat at her beautiful meditation sanctuary near Bangkok Airport.
For the first seven months, she never stepped outside the center. After that, she allowed herself brief outings just once or twice a month, while continuing to meditate 8–12 hours a day.

Her two-year full-time retreat ended in February 2024 when she traveled to Fatima, Portugal, the Loire Valley in France, and finally London to reconnect with with her London Business School Alumni.
Instead of a quiet return to ordinary life, she discovered a deeper calling to create Zoul, a global mental health and wellbeing platform.
Born from decades of spiritual service and profound inner transformation, Zoul is her next offering to the world: a sanctuary to heal, rejuvenate, and help people rediscover their purpose.

Global Human Development Initiatives
In the old days, Dr. Ddnard used to lead powerful healing and Transformation in-person Summits, some drawing over 8,000 participants.
She shared both in-person and online deep wisdom, guided inner recovery, and helped millions find peace, clarity, and purpose.
Though she no longer facilitates these events, her commitment to healing has only deepened.
Today, she works quietly behind the scenes, supporting those who continue the path of awakening and spiritual growth, empowering them to serve others in profound ways.

The Homes She Left Behind
After she ended the two years of continuous eight to twelve-hour daily meditation with 80 friends, she was asked by her monk mentor to let go of the attachment to her beautiful houses by beginning her world adventure.
While she is sleeping in a small room in a remote forest, her two serene, magnificent meditation houses were left idle, yet they are frequently used to host prominent spiritual leaders from around the world.
Exploring the depths of her soul, she chooses to live peacefully in diverse settings from the bustling cityscapes of major capitals to the tranquil forests of the Dolomite Mountains and the picturesque banks of London’s Thames River.

Guest Retreat Houses

Dr. Ddnard Napattalung, Ph.D., M.Sc. Econ., has emerged as a globally prominent figure in the private equity fund sector, inspiring millions with her story of strength and spiritual fortitude.
Her journey from personal tragedy to international success stands as a testament to her determination and visionary leadership...

Her Work, In Short
Who is Dr. Ddnard Napattalung?
Dr. Ddnard Napattalung (PhD, MSc. Econ) is a global investor, private equity strategist and founder. She has built and exited investments across around thirty companies and investment vehicles operating in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States, and is the founder of Zoul, a mental health, wellbeing and sleep platform. She is the author of the Life Compass book series, read by more than three million readers, and a winner of the Women Changing the World Award for her leadership in investment, philanthropy, entrepreneurship and wellbeing.
What is Dr. Ddnard known for?
She is known for three things: long-horizon private capital across financial technology, digital banking, health tech, mental health technology, artificial intelligence, nutrition, publishing, education and real estate; the Life Compass book series, with more than three million copies sold; and three decades of free human development work, including free meditation retreats for around five hundred people held several times a year, and support for free schools, hospitals, clinics and meditation centres.
What is Dr. Ddnard’s work in AI?
After two years of full-time silent meditation, she spent two further years turning three decades of recorded human behavioural research into intellectual property for training artificial intelligence in emotional coding. Her team measured the extracted material at the equivalent of about 876 books of intellectual property covering the emotional layer required to train AI. Her stated position is that human beings remain the masters and AI remains a powerful servant, which requires it to be trained with emotional intelligence, ethics and a moral quotient rather than capability alone.
What is Emotional Scale AI and the Emotional Operating System?
EOS, the Emotional Operating System, is the foundation layer: the structured dataset drawn from thirty years of research-backed behavioural records, together with the framework built on it. It is extended through Emotional Scale AI into a layer that helps systems read not only what a person does, but why they choose, trust, withdraw or connect. Her argument is that this emotional layer is the harder half of machine intelligence, and that very few organisations hold the raw material for it.
What is Better Half AI?
Better Half AI is the companion product built on the Emotional Operating System foundation, including a dedicated companion for the elderly. It responds to a stated problem: one in three people now reports severe loneliness. It is not designed to keep people company instead of other people, but to move them back toward each other.
What is Zoul?
Zoul is the mental fitness and sleep platform she founded, and the part of her current work already in people’s hands. It offers over a thousand audio sessions in seventeen languages, covering deep sleep, emotional recovery, self-worth, building a brand with purpose and removing negativity from a workplace. It emerged from her two-year silent retreat as a platform to help people heal, rejuvenate and rediscover their purpose.
